Haha, the my first page for the first OCSSL Mission! These are different from the battles, 'cause everybody wins. XD
The mission was "to draw a 3 page comic depicting your OC nabbing a mysterious and ancient artefact of your choice," which is basically Lupe's origin story, so we get a little flashback sort of thing! Except for there's no way Lupe's memory is this reliable. XD So yeah, that's little Lupe at... I'm not sure how old, and Kotone as a teenager. Teenager!Kotone looks like a cooler, bitchier version of regular Lupe, or at least I think so. XD This was all done traditional, save playing with the levels on PS to get rid of the boarder's marker strokes. So yeah, you guys have to deal with my handwriting and my on-the-fly boarders. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
